Josie Lau DBS?

Just a thought–

Remember the DBS-FOTF excitement we had awhile back?

While DBS behaved handsomely, withdrawing their public support once informed of the nature of FOTF, there had to be someone in DBS to suggest & set up this donation connection.

Either this person or group didn’t know FOTF was a group complained about before for its Christian slant in secular education (like in school talks)

Or

Whoever it was DID know but chose to keep it quiet from DBS.

Which sounds a lot like how the new AWARE ex-co got itself into power.

So now I’m wondering–can anyone out there tell me whether Josie Lau the new AWARE president had anything to do with the DBS team that put together the DBS-FOTF link up?

Because it smells like it was carried out pretty much the same way!
If an institution like DBS got taken in then our old AWARE ex-co isn’t really to blame right?

Anybody knows? Just tell me anonymously…
It won’t make any difference of course.
I just want to know.

  3. Ovidia, while I know nothing of the inner workings of DBS, I can offer the suggestive fact that Josie Lau – according to the news articles – works for the consumer banking group cards department of DBS.

The FOTF tie-up involved encouraging consumers to use their DBS cards.

It could be a coincidence, of course. A might fine one.

  4. Hah hah.

I’ll love to put a bet with you that Josie Lau is involved in the DBS-FOTF linked up. I have a reputation for my sixth sense!
